Hi,
I have been a SE man for a while now..owning the t610, t630, w800i, p800 p900 and p910i. I recieved the k800i, but am kind of dissappointed with everything still being pretty much the same except for the camera and RSS feature, which are excellent.
I was looking at other phones, andfor a feature rich handset, i like the sound of the....nokia...N80.
Its the first time in a while ive seen a nokia i like, but i dont know whether to exchange the k800i for the N80...and would like sum opinions on that or even another feature rich handset if anybody has any suggestions.

Thankyou in Advance.

I just love my K800 because what I want is a phone to text and call, built-in printable digicam, flash, and internet browser. What else then? What makes you unhappy? K800 is a perfect phone for me..maybe you prefer a Nokia N93?

While I don't own the K800i, I have to say that I agree -- Everything I've read regarding the K800i seemed somewhat disappointing, and for the first time in a long time, I'm actually considering a Nokia.

MMMM. I like to wait a while before buying a new product. I think the K800 will eventually shine above the rest. Especially Nokia rubbish - Go and use a Nokia to remind yourself how bad/confusing they are. However, I won’t even consider buying a K800 until 1) the contract on my w800 runs out; and 2) they are as stable as the latest K750's and w800's(firmware). Let's face it - the last Firmware's for the K750/W800 delivered the best the phones had to offer. And, lets not forget the impact FAR has had on our ability to improve on what SE couldn't deliver!!!!!!!!!!!

i was disillusioned with SE a while back after the release of the K750 and w800 and decided to try the nokia equivalent the N70, it took me less than two months to come back to SE.
theres all those old sayings that are appropriate now like, "the grass is greener on the other side" and "you dont know what youve got till its gone"

by all means try the n80 but i can guarentee youll be back with SE before long, the extra features on a nokia dont make up for the slowness

@J-J
you are right the slowness of nokia phones are bugging me big time eventhough im not using one. how much more if i did have a nokia phone.

k800 has minor bugs but nothing major that a firmware update wound fix.

If it's feature-richness you're after, why not wait for the P990. Due any moment now. I've had a P800 for a while, but switched to the K800 because I wanted a less bulky phone with a better camera. So far I'm really happy with my (fingers crossed) bug-free K800.

I love my K800 as well. I've never really liked Nokia phones. The software is ugly (haven't seen the latest though) and appears to be slow and the looks of their phones doesn't appeal to me (but that's just me).
