> W800 speaker not working
Bookmark topic
Ok well I changed the case on my W800i myself and when I put it back together when answering a call no one on the other end could hear me but I could here them. I took it apart again had a look and now I cnt hear anyone and they cant hear me still. Does anybody know what I have damaged and how I can fix it?
I can use my hands free to speak on my phone and that works fine. I can also use the loud speaker to talk but its not great when your sitting on a packed bus!

easy matey, you probally forgot to put the speaker at the right point, the 2/3 metal contacts must touch the ones on the inside of the electronics

was it a genuine case? often the non-gen ones are a poor fit, so the speaker/mic may not be making contact properly with the mainboard.
I know it sounds silly, but have you tightened all the screws in enough too?

that shouldnt effect it because its a clip on case, I think a likely culprit would be the contact spring/s has fell out? I believe in the w800i they used springs not normal contacts?

Well on the speaker port there are like two flaps and do these go under the camera part or above it?
Yes SammyBoy it was a non genuine case and I did tighten the screws well enough.
