Can anyone tell me what this icon is and how to get rid of it, its at the top of my K800i screen and is a red telephone receiver with a red arrow bouncing off the top of it ! and it is not the missed call icon.

it means call divert.
Go to Settings > Calls > Divert Calls
There are options to remove it there.
