Is it only because of BestPic and image stabilizer that a cam-phone deserves a CyberShot title? Or is it only a trick of trade?

my best guess would be rthat the cybershot phone(s) use a cybershot sensor and lens, but the non-cybershot just use any old thing sony can find

The k800i does not have the same camera module as a sony camera as the k800i uses a cmos sensor and the sony camera uses a ccd sensor. This message was posted from a WAP device

CMOS is cheaper, smaller and uses less power.
CCD has superior image quality.

Umm.. haven't we gone a bit off topic? The orginal poster asked about the difference between the K750 camera module and the K800 one, not the K800 and a sony camera module...o_o...

So this Sony Cybershot with cmos sensor is all in my imagination?
http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/camera/review/78/page_1.html

btw, cmos USED TO BE inferior, but cmos chips are fast becoming just as capable as ccd, and some cmos chips are now actually better than most ccd's. So if you are going to refute someone, check your facts.
