> How much for a nokia 6230i?

Hi my friend has a nokia 6230i on vodaphone but it has a slight fault. The top left hand corner button doesn't work so she can't delete messages, all the other buttons work.
Can this be fixed at all? We tried taking the cover off and nothing happened, just wondered how much it would fetch if she was to sell it and whether it could be fixed and how.

ah, I think I may know this one. Normally the cause is dirt or corrosion between the pad and buttons.
I will happily take a look at it for you free of charge, just pay shipping both ways and its fine. Or I will buy it lol

ok offers there, but as I say its proba a easy fix, remove the front panel using a t6 screwdriver and check the contacts, no point in wasting it on ebay

Cool thanks will have a go and see what happens i thought it was an easy fix but she was having non of it.
So i just take the front cover off and then remove the white panel to reveal the contacts. I will tell her and see if she will let me have ago at it, thanks.

yeh, then a bbit of wirewool or a dry cloth, over the contacts and bingo ur done.
