Thats a nice deal..but the only problem with that is its not High Definition and not an LCD.

I am in the market for a new big screen TV but it has to feature both of those things.

we're getting alot of hotukdeals stuff posted today!

I was tempted by this but then remembered that I really don't like plasma having viewed many many screens looking for a perfect large screen to replace my projector

plasma was good before large screen LCD's became more available and reasonable priced but LCD is much brighter than plasma and I feel that plasma will be on its way out once LCD can match it in size and cost

still... sub £1000 42" plasma is good value

My next tv is definitely going to be an LCD...they seem to have a longer life-span than plasma's and are better quality in the long run.
