Hi!

I was just testing FAR manager, I was browsing through the files and such, after I restarted the phone, it worked... went again to FAR and the verbosing of the connection would be very short... you know, that part where you get the 'getting file... ' and a progress bar, and so on... I only got two lines I think.

When it opened I got the folders flash with a "coming.soon" file and a (I think) FS folder (or similar). Opening the folder would bring me no files... as if it was empty. Quitted FAR and it didn't asked if I wanted to shutdown the CV* (whatever, I don't recall)... it quitted directly.

Then, when started the phone, it'd freeze in the Sony ericsson logo!! Desperately, I FARed again, this time the verbose was OK, and asked to shutdown CV* and then the phone worked...

Any clues? What was that about? What were the FLASH and FS folders?

If something happen to the phone someday while I play with FAR... will copying all the original files (which I backuped in my PC the first time I tried FAR) resolve the issue? Or is there any case where it'd still be screwed?

Thanks, really.

press the power button.. a lil bit longer this tym...

after using far then disconnecting the phone from PC... what i do is, press the power button 2sec.. then release.. wait a couple of secs... then press the button a lil bit longer.. like 5 secs.. or just simply wait till the screen lit up.

Umm.. did you even properly read his post rockygali...

But anyways, I'd also like to know if copying all the original files will solve the problem in that situation.

Thanks Simply...

I think rockygaly was playing the XBox or something while answering.. cause I don't know what he addressed. haha just kidding pal.

But really... why didn't it booted? And copying the files would solve it? If i delete some file... then restore... what would be different? Why shouldn't it work?

Thanks.

Always click the ".." until the red box comes up confirming exit. Then unplug cable, remove the battery, put it back and power on. FAR is not perfect. I had one instance where FAR froze up reading my phone. I shut down, removed my phone but my phone refused to start after that. Luckily, all I needed to do was to run SEUS and my phone worked again.
