I've heard that there's a new firmware version R1CG001 for K790's through SEUS. has anyone confirmed this? If there's one, it's weird that WotanServer has no support for it yet.

In their website http://www.wotanserver.com they say that K790 support has been added. And the application has K790 on the flash files menu.

I couldn't get SEUS to give me the update. I am in the US, but using the CHINA firmware--maybe that is why.

I upgraded using wotanserver to the new firmware and I didn't notice any obvious changes. The receiver *might* be a little louder but it isn't a dramatic difference--my T637 is still much louder.

My girlfriend says that every time I talk to her on the new phone, there is some kind of background noise that is really annoying for her. After upgrading to the new firmware, she said the background noise is still there.

I also upgraded with WotanSever 'cause SEUS wouldn't let either. I noticed the same changes as you, but no one has told me anything about background noise.

Yeah I tried using SEUS for the R1CG as well, but it wouldn't let me... I'm using the Chinese APAC firmware as well. Oh well, stuck on R1CC003 for now.

Really? I will check. Going to start SEUS now.

AND Nope, there is no F/W upgrade. Still stuck on K790i R1CC003.
