Contact your network provider.

Here in NZ my mobile network and ISP are bitter rivals and therefore I can't use my V800 to read emails sent to my laptop. However my mobile network provider has supplied me with an email address for my phone and talked me through the installation of the required browser settings.

It all works fine.

Just set the correct settings for POP from your mail provider, in your phones built in mail client.

I check my Virgin and Tesco accounts using my W810i, and have used a T610, K700i, K750i, W800i, various Nokias and a Samsung D600 to check them.

For O2, you need their 'Mobileweb' settings to check emails, which you can't get on PAYG.

You can get the email settings sent to your phone from the website, just put in your country, operator, and email provider.

Never tried non-POP3 accounts like Hotmail though, not sure if they can be checked or not.
