Mobile phone users frustrated by how long it takes to write messages in Welsh can try out a new predictive text programme from
today.
Welsh language texters previously had to add words manually to their phone's dictionary or type the slow way. The software, which predicts Welsh words as you type, has to be downloaded on phones and will be available free for a trial period.

I doubt many welsh people would be pleased if you told them it was a dead or dying language.
The demand must have been their in the first place otherwise no one would have bothered surely.
don't know about latin but
other languages have a T9 so don't see why the welsh should be left out.

Just switch on the T9 dictionary only type your texts as if it wasn't switched on...... that'll make your text look pretty Welsh!
