> k800 camera shutter sound

how can i silence the shutter sound? i tried putting it in silent mode but that didnt do the trick.
any ideas?

On K800S customised for the middle east and some branded versions, the shutter sound can be turned off by going into the silent mode. You may have to flash the phone to the corresponding fw!

Just searched a bit and found that K800s with the following firmware does not make camera sounds while in the silent mode:
CDA102511/85 R1A
cxc1250490 R1CB001
Hong Kong
Cant give the exact link as i am on html light version of this site.

yeah.. there's a few i think that cannot be silenced.
mine is:
CDA 102568/101
HONG_KONG
and it can be silenced by going into silent mode.

i falshed it to the Hong Kong firmware but the shutter sound is still there even in silent mode.
how can i check the firmware? is it the same as the k750?

What region was your original firmware? Ex. my EU4 K800i is silent, it is dependent of the region.

i dont know which region it was. it was branded with "3". im guessing it was Generic Nordic
