Here is an amazing image of a very sharp Tungsten needle captured with a Field ion Microscope,The small round features are individual atoms.The lighter colored elongated features are traces captured as atoms moved during the imaging process.

@slug - Cool it pal . . . Yeah, Axxxr went to 'BAHAMAS' en route to St. Tropez a couple of months back . . . but he just love the SUN here at Esato You may argue with him with on some ISSUEs . . . but not like with images like this - snake skin !
