...and in yet another birthday celebration this week we have the IBM PC which was announced on 12th August 1981

I must admit I was using the commodore PET and Tandy TRS-80 before this time but I guess IBM made the big leap forwards which helped us be where we are today

IBM are great, their laptops are really sturdy and high quality, not good for media, but for office or for journeys they really are amazing, I think they are probally the best brand for windows pc's just because you knwo if you have one its guna last unlike some of the new ones like HP whcih are going after the media market.
I still say buy apple though lol

IBM were indeed one of those companies that laid the foundations for a lot of what we have today in the computing world....True innovators!
