hi. i'm in a state of utter confussion. im buying a new phone in two months and im being given a p910 as a hand me down gift. the p910 is special so i cant sell it, and im selling my k700(vodaphone firmware) @ the end of the month. at first, i wanted a k750 but its so common here i changed my mind. the i was going 4 a w800 but my friend wants 2 buy it and i HATE having the same thing with friends. What do i do? i REALLY want a sony ericsson but i dnt knw any other affordable models...

My man, it sounds as though you have overlooked the gorgeous, K800. This phone is virtually brand new, and I don't know many people with it. Its very affordable, and usually free and most new contracts, so give it a look. If you don't live in a 3G area, then you can always try the K790 which instead of 3G has an EDGE system, the choice is yours buddy!

I can recommend the
V800 (Z800 / V802SE in some markets).
With 1.3Mp camera, MSPD slot, 3G, and changeable covers, it's a big step up from the K700i - which I also had. It's old in some markets (ie: inexpensive) but stylish enough to still look up to date.
Downsides are no radio and poorer reception than K700i.

HI! sorry 4 the l8 reply. i come 2 the net cafe once a week. the k800 is WAY over my budget. its like 350 pounds! nd the w810 is 320 pounds. i will try and bug my parents 4 a wee bit extra $$$ but right now the phone thats taunting me is the w800. its like its telling me "ha ha ha! you're going to end up with me! HAHAHAHAHAH!" and so forth. i dont want to be a clone!!! but it is a nice phone...............

No, W550 and 600 doesnt have a memory slot.
I suggest you wait for a month or two for the W850, i'm doing the same.

i've already enquired about the w850 and its REALLY going to cost a bomb when it gets here, and i need a new phne b4 november. Is there a different cover 4 w800? my friend wants 2 buy that phone, but if i buy it b4 him, he will get pissed @ me. and yes i am a teenager so it really does matter.....
