MilkCam is an internet-enabled camera disguised as a milk container. It allows users with cell phones or PDAs, to remotely snap a picture of their refrigerator’s interior. People don’t upgrade their fridges frequently, making it difficult for new internet-enabled refrigerators to gain popularity. This type of technology is direct alternative to internet-enabled refrigerators that are almost prohibitive to acquire.

You could be walking down the aisle at a supermarket and dial-up your fridge from your cell phone to see if it is time for buying more orange juice, milk and fruit; saving you an extra trip to the mall.

quite true....i think this project is only at conceptual stages at the moment..so the inventors may work on the light source in the final product...but i really can't see this catching on...can you?

nope lol, seems really f**king pointless lol. Lets face it most people know what they are going shopping for rather then go shopping then think what they need, and if they forget something they onyl find out when they get back home
