> w 700i battery problem

hi friend i am really disappointed with my battery performance.....the battery gets reduced so fast.....It drains hell a lot of battery, and can we turn off the backlight it keeps on during the call.....I think my bro's w500i is having a superb battery....I tried using them too,its 100 times better than w 700i....Are the battery different...

It would have been a good idea to post a question that actually made some sense. How fast is your battery draining? Are you in a remote area. How are you using your phone? I'd be really surprised to find that the W700 has a battery issue. My w800's battery life is exceptional considering how I use it. I regularly play 3-4 hours of music, make quite a few calls, take photo's and so on. At the end of the day I usually have around 60-70% charge. That's pretty good in my book. Try doing the same on a Motorola V3i - Your battery will be flat in 5 hours. If you don't use the walkman or camera you will easily get 3-4 days before you have to recharge. You've got nothing to complain about.

hi dude .... i also own a w700i . im having batter trouble too ..i dont use the fone to play songs or take photos . only i thing i do s send about 100 messages a day plus 1 hour of calls . and the battery comes down to about 40 % at the end of the day and i have to keep charging it twice a day . and is there any solution to the backlight it keeps glowing wen i am on a call
