> k750i doesnt charge
Bookmark topic
Hello, I've got a problem with my k750i. I doesn't charge anymore and my battery is at 2% at the moment. The standard charge cable doesn't get recognised by the phone. The usb cable do gets recognised, but only for 2 seconds (and the battery icon doesn't change). So then i thought it could be the slot in the k750i where you put in the cables, but he does recognize the earphone cable.
Any solutions or a temporily way to charge the battery?

It sounds like possibly your charger or K750i is wearing out, the same happened to mine and it wouldnt charge unless it really waggled the charger / usb around a little to get it to connect.
The SE fastport does not seem anywhere near as reliable IMO than the previous port SE used.
How old is your phone ? and have your tried wiping the connectors with a cloth to remove dust ?

Get another charger and let clean the connector in a service

My phone is 3 months old and there is no dust. Do you think the cable is dead or the part where you put it in?
Thanks for the help!

To pinpoint what is wrong, and to localize any faulty components, it might be wise to try one component at a time:
- Replace the battery only.
- Replace the charger only.
- Replace the USB-cable only.
- Replace the phone.
For a temporary solution, find a good friend who has a SE K750i or another compatible SE phone model. Ask him/her kindly if you can charge your battery in their phone for a while. But be a bit careful: If the battery is the faulty component, in worst case you might end up destroying your (then not so) good friends phone...

.
Good luck!

Can anyone tell me if using a k750i charger on my W800i is ok. I lost my charger and so im currently using my friends one. When I plug it in, it does the usual optimised charging bit, but it never stops charging. It always stays at the last line if you kno what I mean, even if the phone is switched off and charging.
Oh sorry if of topic, try using alcohol to clean the contact points outside and on the batt. This also improves it's life I hear.
Thanks...
