Hey all. Is anyone else having problems with rapidshare. It gives you your IP address and informs you that you have exceeded your limit and must wait a few minutes before you can download. The counter just starts up agian. Whats up with that.

The main reason for my complaint is that I need the version 2.72 camera driver to send to my phone via FAR but it's hosted on Rapidshare. Does anyone have any ideas? can someone give me an alternate location to download the driver.

Thanks in advance. You Sony Ericsson Loving people are the best.

There is a download limit per hour (50mb if I remember right), if you didn't download anything in a hour from rapidshare and you have that error then you are connecting through a proxy, go to the browser preferences and uncheck the proxy connection. Once finished downloading, go check the proxy back.

Hope it will help you out.

Try clearing cookies and enabling Javascript...I use Rapidshare all the time...No problems, except for the damn annoying limit!!!

you could always use your very own amnesia's file sharing service.

Lot's of features, including 'hiding' shared files and your own special folder account. http://www.widgx.org
