The Z550 runs the new interface, as seen on the K800. So yes the menu is more refined than the K750.

I don't have the phone. It's just that in live photots of the phone, the interface that the Z550 is running is (just about) identical to the K800's interface. All of SE's new phone's will be running the new interface anyway.
And because I don't have the phone, I can't pass judgement on how good it's other features are, out screen, etc. Don't think it's out yet though.

But in India the phone is released about 10 days back ...at a price of 195$ ...and the SE developer page doesnt feature its whitepaper but SE Z710 whitepaper is there..and there are also no proper reviews on any of the site ..for user opinions you can see www.gsmarena.com or use the Try the phone feature in SE product page...

I used a z550i for a few weeks, and I kinda fell in love with it. It's very cute and stylish.

The build quality is excellent, the flip feels very solid. I don't know about reception since where I live, I have 100% GSM reception everywhere.

The OS is updated from the k750, it's more like the k800, with push e-mail and stuff like that. The OS is very stabe - I used it daily for 3 weeks with calls, sms, browsing, push e-mail, mp3, FM, etc and in that time it didn't reboot a single time.

Yes, when you get a text message or missed call, it's shown on the outer display with the name of the person who sent it. The outer display also shows the song you're listening to.

The music quality is great (dare I say better than the K800?), and the FM radio reception is much better than on the k750, it's actually useful now. The screen is much brighter than the k750, you can actually use it in sunlight. The camera is horrible.

Sample camera pictures:

It's a very cute and stylish phone, and I'm actually considering getting one as a companion to my K800, as a small, stylish phone to take to parties and stuff where I don't want the huge weight and bulk of the K800.

edit: someone asked about themes, it supports the same themes as the k750 as it has the same screen resolution.
