I use the Philips SHE9500 with my K750i. The equalizer drives it perfectly. Even if I use MegaBass, it doesn't crackle. Its a headphone that can handle strong input. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

Well, based on my own experience and from what I've read online, Phillips, Panansonic and creative have good earphones. I like Panasonic the best. I have owned and used Creative, Panasonic and Philips earphones. Philips has strong bass and medium clarity, Panasonic has both bass and clarity, the creative ones I used had very strong bass that kinda blured the clarity at times. But, so far, only the Philips SHE9500 I'm using now can handle the k750i megabass without any problems, The Panasonic and the stock K750i earphones both cracle and can't handle the K750i.
Sony is crap IMHO. They just have the brand name. Give Philips and Panasonic a try, you might like it.

I like Panasonic the best too. Great when it comes to audio. The best.
Anyway, those come with battery because they are ACTIVE noise cancelling headphones. The ones I posted are PASSIVE noise cancelling headphones.
Basically:
Active - the headphones use battery power to generate waves to cancel outside noise
Passive - they act like earbuds, just shove it into your ear and they expand and block out sound the good old fashioned way.
Go do a search on Active and Passive noise cancelling technology to understand more.
