Hello, I just got my w900 yesterday and when I got it I checked to see if the firmware was the most current one.. and it was. It's R5BC004.. even though for some weird reason in the Service Info it also includes the info abt FW R2B001.. don't want to think about it, the phone looks new enough.
Anyways, after I got home I found out the firmware was actually China firmware.. which means that the chinese language is in SIMPLIFIED and my chinese mp3 id3 tags weren't showing up.. I was wondering if there was any way I can flash traditional chinese pinyin input and display to my phone and still keep the latest B5BC004 software.. or do I have to go back to r5bb001?
I've been looking up for hours and hours on how to do this for the past day, and I still don't know what I can do. I've downloaded the Da Vinci software but it seems that it doesnt have HK firmware in the latest R5BC004 version. Is there anyone else I can help me, I'm very incompetent in this whole flashing thing. If i could I would really rather pay someone to do it for me -o-"
Btw, what is CDA? No idea what it is when I saw it on Da Vinci and for some reason EVERYONE knows what it is so no one explained it..

u need to use big 5 to see chinese on the phone. it might not be showing up cuz the phone can show simpiled chinese. so maybe it need to be flashed to hk firmware in order to read it.

I have already tried converting the Chinese font to Big5 from Unicode, and it doesnt seem to be working. If I flash to hk firmware, what is the newest hk firmware there is? THanks!
