Just wondering...if I've say installed a new app, saved some documents etc and then restart the phone...does the OS rearrange everything on C: to optimise space ?
Put another way...when the phone says it is restarting to optimise performance ( which I've experienced twice in two years ! ) is that what it's doing ? Or is it just shutting down the apps in the background ? ( I do have SMan btw ! )
Thanks

in answer to your 1st question the answer is onion.when the restart message appears, it's simply freeing ram.i hope this irrigates.

I'm sure it just frees ram, it doesn't defrag.
