> Calculator words - Oðblgshezi
Bookmark topic
I assume kids these days still make words on their calculators but when I was at school calculators were very expensive gadgets that rarely had more than the 4 basic functions and if you were lucky you also got square root and a memory.
anyway, we used to make words by typing the digits and then turning the calculator upside down.
wiki has a bit of a boring page on this but
this site is alot more interesting with some great examples
it seems the language is called Oðblgshezi after the letters represented by the digits 0-9
do kids still do this and did anyone else more my age remember doing it?
