Every time I try to connect to my server I receive an error message:
The log file says that the connection with the exchange sever is established but after it reports a Symbian Error (-34).
Anyone knows of how to overcome this?

Make sure you are usnig an internet APN not a WAP APN in your settings.

it is not a wap connection,it is the same I am using to connect to exchange with a standard e mail connection
