Tips and tricks

Hey all =). I'm new to this forum, so sorry if this question has been hashed over a million times. I just purchased my t68i last week and I love it! I also just purchased the MCA-25 camera for it yesterday. This has kind of disappointed me. I bought the camera so I could take pictures of my friends and use them in the caller id. The pics look great when I upload them to my PC, but are just terrible on my phone display. I tried adjusting the color to 25 like people recommended, but I don't see a difference. I'm holding the camera still, but the pics still look very pixalated on the display. Are there any tricks in improving this, or is this just normal? I hoping to at least get the same quality as the backround pictures that I have downloaded from this site =(

Your PC has more colors then the phone.
The phone has 256 colors compared to your pc its not fair.
But I think that the quality och the pictures on the phone are OK

I understand that my PC has many many more colors on it...I was just asking if anyone had any tips on getting the pics on my phone screen to look better. I have downloaded pictures onto my phone from this site that look much better than the ones I have taken...any advise would be greatly appreciated =)

i agree with the comments
i have difficulty, and it does take a while to get right for the phone
but eventually when it uploads and it looks spot on its worth it.....
shame is its not the same for each photo is all i can say

If you just use the search section of the forum, you'll find that there is a tutorial out there that tells you how to edit your images for use as a background for the t68i.

If you have photoshop you can load the image in photoshop and then convert them to 256 colors. Photoshop does some optimizations when converting and the picture should then look a little bit better. I don't think the t68i uses any algorithm for optimizing colors when then picture has more than 256.. that's why the images looks quite bad on the display. Of course, it has do do with the resolution as well
But try to use photoshop, it should help
