Wait until mario gets here and he'll argue that the Nokia N80/N72/N93 are the best when it comes to picture quality altough he hasn't used any of those phones.

Well, each forum needs a clown and mario seem to have taken that position in several SE forums.

Both companies has plus and minus at design, features etc i am ready to be another clown if it is... Those tests Are pointless imo, another one will say that this and this device is better and so on. If a fone fits my needs, it could be even the worst ranked, who cares?!? This message was posted from a WAP device

true .... BUT sux big time in video quality ....

in twilight the k800 wins hands down to the n93 and in daylight on some ocasions .... but it isn't really a camera phone cose those can record video at a acceptable resolution ... let's be serious ! CIF video recording SUX BIG TIME !!!

if you'r after photos it is the perfect choice but if you'r after a bit of both u better go for the nokias

the images shown there are a lot of bull c**p X(
if you set up the n93 to suite the conditions outside you can get good photos and even clearer AF than the k800 sometimes

I do agree with you there, for me though it's not a problem, yeah it would be nice to have better quality video but I'm happy to sacrifice it for the camera, and all the other features the phone has . That's not to say that could have wiped the floor if they'd added high quality video to the k800i, but that's one of those things. If they did I'd have moaned they took EVEN longer to release it!!

A swedish magazine, called "mobil" has made a comparison test between K800 and Nokia N93, which also has a 3MB camera, in their latest issue, and the Nokia won in all categories of the test, but in my opinion, I think this test was a little unfair, since the N93 hasn't reached the market yet, at least not at the time when the article was written. Also, if you read the text about the tests and not only the results, there were many pros of the k800 and cons of the N93 that were not taken into account for the final score, even though they were mentioned in the text. Reading the test made me more convinced that I had chosen the right phone anyway, regardless of the test result.
