By portable formfactors they mean in 20yrs time devices like i-pods would contain storage of upto 1TB.But as far as 1TB HDD's are concerned yes they are coming this year.(thats what the article says,i'm not claiming anything)

). I wonder when this baby is gonna be availble for laptops? It would be really cool if your 1TB ultraportable could carry 200+ Movies and songs worth 4 ipods and have enough space left for three times that much.
