600bhp Porsche Cayenne

A staggering modified version of the Porsche Cayenne off-roader will go on display at the MPH'06 show later this year. Based on the twin turbo V8 Cayenne, which produces an already impressive 450bhp as standard, this version has been modified by German tuners TechArt to produce 600bhp. Despite weighing over 2300kg, the car's extra grunt means that it can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and go on to a top speed of 183mph.

TechArt is also a bodykit specialist, and it has transformed the show car into something which looks . . . interesting.

It will be on display in the Sony Ericsson Studio at both the venues used by the Shell Optimax-sponsored MPH'06 event. It all kicks off at the Birmingham NEC on October 26-29, and then moves to Earls Court in London on November 2-5. Tickets are on sale now, at prices ranging from £22 to £49, and they can be ordered at

its stil la cayenne at the end of the day..

driven by idiots round here that think they are gods greatest gifts.. love it when you get a DB9 just scoot past and dominate the cayenne.. makes me chuckle..

Porsche imo is just a poor mans Ferrari..

IMO,its a wonderful automobile,a SUV which handles well and gives a similar performance to a sports (not super) car despite its weight.
600bhp from a 4.5l is really impressive.

I can agree with the idiots bit. I saw a cayenne driver overtake a row of 5 cars doing the the speed limit (a 3omph zone) at at least 60mph. The funny bit was that he disdnt see a traffic island smacked into the kerb and destroyed his alloy and tyre (probably at a cost of at least £600).

All the cars that he had overtaken drove past him laughing.
