> People confused when it comes to mobile features
Bookmark topic
Read this in the paper yesterday. Crazy for us, but so true for the rest of the population.
The results to a UK survey suggested that nearly a quarter of phones returned for faults actually worked properly.
"People are bamboozled by the amount of phones that are coming out and some of the features.
"Some of the newer manufacturers are still not realising that making the phone as user friendly as possible is the key point"
It goes on to talk about features and how they're not the only things to consider when buying a hone, it's usability.
Menus were sometimes arranged in obscure ways, and some manufacturers didn't listen to the public.
They suggest that mobile phone touch screens will be the new 'big thing.'
Motorola Mobile Devices spokesman Peter Joblin said that there was an expectation within the industry that phones would always advance.
Quite ironic, considering that Motorola has got the least usable menu of all the manufacturers

You can say that again.
One of my mates doesn't text half as much as he used to since getting a RAZR. Not good for the operators either come to think of it.

Improved features on the phones: Yes. Manufacturers of phones should think of "user friendliness" than just being different.Improved phones should for all and not only for the tech savvy few.
