Hey there all,
Who here uses a Windows Mobile device and uses it alot?
I am part of the Windows Live Beta team and was supposed to test out the new Windows Live Mobile, however I've sold my K-Jam.

Is there any reliable person out there who would like to test out something new and can provide me with feedback?

Please get back to me.

I think masseur might be the best candidate for this sort of thing...thats if he's willing to do it.

amnesia contacted me a few days ago but I told him I just haven't got alot of time at present, what with 4 new phones lately, playtime, moving and organising loads of stuff back to Australia etc etc

its the sort of thing I'd love to do but can't do much for a week or two unfortunately

Ive tried the Windows Live on my pda.

Few good things in it, you can send files of any time, view contacts diplay image aswell as emoticons.

The downfall to it is that it copies all your contacts to your phonebook as I have plenty of contacts in my list so it took me ages to delete those contacts. I have also read somewhere that once you delete the contacts from your phonebook and log back on to windows live it then updates your contact list from your phone book, which means if there arnt any contacts in urr fone book then there wont be any on your msn list too! therefore I decided to uninstall this beta version before it did anything silly like that.. I hope I made sense

it gets synchronized and connected but when i run windows live mobile app installer and accept the terms and conds. it says Connection Error: No Pocket PC or Smartphone is connected via Active Sync

i tried it many times but got the same error

what should i do?

some people don't restart after installing it, did you restart?

Did you start the connection manager through active sync?

If you've tried USB did you try connecting via Bluetooth?

I've added you on messenger.

@Rule, that's good to hear you enjoyed it, this is Beta Refresh 2 10.7, were you part of the beta team?

Yes Amensia I am a member of the beta team, I hope some changes are made to the final version such as the phone book problem and it also should allow the user to display their own picture.
