There are lots of potential "con"s:
- Blue screen
- Hanging problems like every other Windows CE device
- Power consumption
- Bluetooth support
And some "pro"s:
- MSN messenger would top of my list
- Email access
- HTML browsing (on a very small screen)
- No shortage of Service Packs

So would you spend your own money on a MS phone?

Never! M$ has problems with stability and the worst thing is their softwares security flaws, I can only imagine what problems this could lead to on mobile phones. And we shouldn't forget how memory and cpu hungry their OS's are.... This post was posted from a T68i

All depends on services, support one so on. Lets say I would not be the first one to buy it. I have owned 2 Symbian devices before and have the greatest faith in there SW. This post was posted from a T39

Not in this life, never! Once sales level off or drop, they will abandon the platform! Messenger, icq on a phone 2 talk 2 some1! Just call them. Only 1 person i know who is always at the computer and doesnt pick up the phone! This post was posted from a T39

I tend to buy things I like as opposed to companies I like - and it's quite difficult to imagine the Windows platform being abandoned by Microsoft, especially in such an important market as mobile devices!

I'm not saying I love Microsoft - as we all know, their strategy is to hook people on upgrades. I prefer being able to choose.
