Hi there. I'm hoping to use my SE K750i as something like an ebook reader. I know there's no software I can get to read PDF files, so I've converted my PDF to HTML, then transferred it to the memory on my phone.
However, when I try and load the HTML file in the internal browser, the phone just locks up (probably because it's quite large). I installed Opera Mini, but it had no way to open an HTML file. I then installed the hacked Opera Mini (since this claims to open HTML files) but the file I transferred wouldn't even show up in the file browser when I tried to load it.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could do this?

I dont think opera mini will open it .as i know it opens only files saved by itself. what i suggest is to convert to some form of text document and read it using a java bookreader.

You need readmaniac - it's a java bookreader app. You can use the readmaniac pc front end to make your own Java books from text files, or you can use the readmaniac java app to read actual text files on your ohone. It can read really big text files without difficulty.
Check getjar.com for a copy, or google it (I've lost the link)
