Okay. Tomorrow evening I'm heading out to phone shop. I'm looking at either the M600i or the K790i.

I REALLY like the M600i but I keep reading about people have the worst time with them. I realize that there are some problems, but is the phone really that unstable?

Aslo, how can I do the future updates? Do I need a specal cable or docking unit? Or does the USB cable supplied do the job?

thanks for your time...

well I'm pretty happy with my M600i now. I had some initial problems that i put down to the fact that my sim card perhaps wasnt 100% compatible, and I was roaming overseas.. but back home it works 100% now.

Although I havent tried it as yet.. reading the instructions it appears that the SE Update service just connects thru the supplied USB cable.

Cheers

Have you guys had any problems with using BT? I remember reading about headsets and file transfers randomly dropping out. This might have been before the FW update. Oh and how many FW updates have there been?

Have any users here used their M600i with the new Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970? I'm planning to use it with it a LOT as I'm going to use it as my music player while I'm at school.

Sorry for the million questions...I'm just trying to decide on which one I should get.

If u r realy into music, i highly recomend u wait for w950, looks as if m600 is strickly for busines thou its keypad is awesome. i didnt use bluetoth headset so no input here but transfring files no problem so far mate.
its memory simply too smal for a music player IMO

Hmmm...the W950 eh? Well the only thing I hate about the new SE phones is the new M2 memory cards. I've ordered a 1GB from eBay. That should hold me over till the bigger ards come out...

I'm using an A2DP headset, and i have a lot of problems ! Bluetooth A2DP is definitely not bug free yet. I have the latest firmware BTW. I'd like to hear from other who are using A2DP headsets with the M600i.
