Just post your details of the your idea of the perfect sony ericsson
mine is: 8 megapixel camera with cybershot lens, 8gb internal memory flash of course,
Walkman medai player 2, 3 inch screen, all the features of P990i and k800i combined and a colour choice of either black or white,and the size of a k800i, that would be my perfect SE phone.

that would also be the size of a small 3rd world contry! lol
id say something of the size of the w900i (for me anyway) with a decent 3.2MP camera, WiFi and full internet browser, but not a smart phone

Mine would be with a 2.5-3 inch screen with great clarity. A good 3 to 4 MP cam with atleast 10x zoom would do. Autofocus is a must. Appreciable memory and battery life. Besides that features of the k800 and p990 with walkman features like Megabass and walkman player and all and i too would go for a non smartphone.

Add to that a battery with talk time of 24 hrs and stand by time of 1yr, lifetime warranty and edge.
And 1 thing else
should donate this phone by starting 1 playtime on esato every day.

s700 alter ego with HDSPA, 4MP, 640x480 3in 32bit display,wifi,3D accelerator with shader model 3 support, VGA 30FPS vid rec wanted to say 720p but thats too much...and maybe DVB-H.

*3 inch 16mil colors touchscreen with VGA resolution
*8gb internal memory
*10 mp (like that new samsung) autofocus, cybershot(many sony cameras use carl zeiss), 5xoptical zoom with camcorder rec (something like 1440x1xxx don't quite remember the measurements)
*qwerty keyboard
*symbian os s60 v4(which will support touchscreen)
*all connectivity features available including wimax
*somesort of card reader,1 slot for mspd,1 for minisd
*verz large battery
