No way!
K800 has 3G but W800 doesnt.
It would be too stupid to put old and worse FW on a new and better phone.

I would say it IS possible, if you work at SonyEricsson's mobile phone firmware dvelopment department, that is, and you have access to the source code for the firmware.
I imagine that the various subsystems in a mobile phone, like media player, address book, email client, menu system, etc. are separate modules, written in some kind of high level language, maybe C++ or Java, I don't know, but they are most surely stored in separate source files, and thus, they may be copied from the code base for one phone model to another. Anyway, when a firmware update is available at SEUS (Or Wotanserver or similar for that matter), the package consists of a compilation of all necessary modules. Once the firmwar package has reached that state, it's probably very difficult to disect out the walkman mediaplayer from a W800 and transplant to K800's firmware, unless you are a microcode genius. The hardware specifications differ at so many points between K800 and K800 so I don't think a compiled module for W800 would work at all in a K800, the phone would probably die right on the spot if you try.
Instead, maybe if you ask politely or eagerly through SonyEricsson's support center for a better MP3 player, similar to the one in W800, if you are rally lucky, your prauers may be heard by the right programmer at SonyEricsson who will improve the MP3 playrt in the next release.

The K800 player is almost identical to the W800 player - save for the walkman branding, and the video player. is it the integrated video player you want, or the actual

branding?
Actually the K800 player plays more audio formats. I really don't get it

Something to put on the wishlist for K800i fw would be to be able to apply your own graphics on the media player, the radio and the email client using a similar mechanism as for the themes, or even have a section in the theme.xml for these applications as well.

I know the K800 plays more audio formats than W800 but it does not sound better it is very very very compresed, that does not happen on the radio but yes on the audio player, no dynamics or when there is to much bass you can hear the compresion, we are talking about this in other forums here by the way, i want the sw of the Walkman in the W800, only that part of the sw on my K800 or better... a better sound on the audio player with no compresed or limiters on it like now we have

The K800 player doesn't have some abilities that the Walkman player has, including scrolling through a list while playing a song by pressing on the joystick.
