there's a saying, it goes something like "if its not broken, it doesnt need fixing". I kinda like SE's interface, its simple yet intuitive. I dont mind if it stays this way, but if they can come up with something better than thats good too

i agree wid u ashyak
i think SE should make phone models having symbian or windows os
though some like p990,p910 hav but they r pda's
in symbian os u hav the freedom of changing the menu icons directly through theme installation nd can arrange them where ever u want
symbian os is much more stable than J2ME

Actually, there have been some revamps and revisions to the interface over the past few years (think tabbed menus), but really it's the perfect interface. Compared to other brands such as Samsung, Nokia and definately Motorola, SE's is a breeze to use.
If you meant a revamp in menu design (icons etc.) then fair enough I guess. Maybe it just means a few more default themes with different icons, although the phones already have this feature.

I like the menu, I dont think it needs changing. I have had many Sony Ericssons and its one of the reasons why i love using them is because they dont change the menu as its fine and also its easy to get used to a newer model.

@Moulder

Ditto that. It's great to upgrade your handset and know you won't need to dedicate a weeks worth of manual reading before you've gained confidence enough to leave it at home and and attempt the solo public mobile experience.

I agree, I think is the perfect interface as it is now. So then... why change it?? I was using my sister's RAZR a while ago and I felt lost and I just couldn't believe how complicated it was to delete an item or to assign a picture to a contact. So I don't see the need to modify 's menus.
