Does scratches of the camera lens protector really affect pics? Is there someone which picture quality has been affected for scratches on the camera lens protector?

unless it's a really bad scratch, i guess it won't. mine has two fairly deep scratches. (those scratches dont cross the middle of the lens though, thankfully) the images still look top.

now if you're talking about scratches that make the lens look like it was run through an abraisive, that's another issue

Most people, and I do mean the vast majority of people, don't have any problems with cameras without lens protectors. SE was the only company to use them until recently and there hasn't really been trouble regarding scratches and photo quality, unless, as stated before, they're really deep.

I think it might be because scratches are so close from the lens that they dont get into focus?

It's the crystal (or is it plastic) cover that is on top of the lens on the w810 camera module. it protects the lens from damage, which is really small and you can see it at the bottom.

I also got some scratches when I had a w810 and asked the same question. I could never notice any quality loss in pictures, and I took many and looked closely to everyone, the ones before and after the scratches. but it's also true, that maybe if the scratches are too nasty, it might spoil pictures quality.
