W810...Is the protector of the camera lens(the one of the red tint) part of the back plate? or is it mounted right on the camera? how do you take it off? is it easy? how small is it?

I asked the same question about a month ago when I had a w810 and a mate sent me a short tutorial on how to replace the k750 lens cover. it should be the same for the w810 since they have the same camera module. PM me your email and I can send it to you too.

The W810 doesn't have a lens protector. Could you rephrase? Maybe you meant the self portrait mirror, which is tinted orange.

Yes it has...it is the plastic red tinted right on the camera module,look carefully and you will see that the camera lens is below that plastic.

@BLKSNAKER
The part that's circled in red is the self-portrait mirror, and the one circled in blue is the actual camera lens. No lens protector.
If those are not the parts you were talking about, then what do you mean?

The blue circle shows the protector of the camera lens, and below it the camera lens itself. Look...make AF work and take a look at the zone indicated by the blue circle: the mobile part is the camera lens, and the static plastic on it,the one you can actually touch,is the camera lens protector. Do you see it now?

When u say 'Lens protector' people assume u refer to something like the sliding cover that a K750 has!!
