I have searched the whole forum trying to find a solution for the "too much memory" problem and no success... So I decided posting again expecting that someone would have already found a solution.
The problem is: I have 26mb of internal memory free on my w800 (firmware 008) and still cant play games like Freeflight, Stunt Plane, fast and furious tokyo 3d crashes after a few minutes of play.... I get that "this application uses too much memory" message, or the game just stops responding.

Is there a solution for that yet? Cuz I know people with only 3 mb of free internal memory on their w800 got Freeflight to work... and that game is a must have in my oppinion....

Any suggestion? Any clue?

Please dont move this post. I've placed it here because I know ppl been messing with Far and that's where I think the solution is.

have you tried restarting the phone? It should free up some memory.
Btw the error message doesn't refer to internal mem, but the phone's ram

Yeah I've tried restarting the phone, replacing batteries, deleting stuff...

I was wondering what would free that ram and why some ppl get it to work with plenty of other junk installed and I cant make it work with 26 mb free lol

BTW, is there any free way of upgrading my branded FW other than davinci ? Im still running 008 but there's no assistance where I live, my operator hasnt authorized the lastest firmware yet so SEUS still identifies my FW as the lastest one...
And davinci is too expensive for me... I'd have to use an international credit card and that'd end up costing 3 times more when converting to my money.......

So.. is there any other way?

you should restart ur phone some more times
the memory which is used is the ram not the phone memory

Tried that and it worked for 1 of the games.. not for the other apps tho.
Is there any information that is perm saved into phone's ram? Like saved games and stuff? Screen savers, animated stuff...

Dunno.. anything I can stop or delete....

BTW, I tried searching the forum for fw update through FAR but couldnt find the instructions in the middle of the 234242342 posts. Is it possible to do that? There is no technical assistance here where I live.
