I recently upgraded ie6 to ie7 and k750i to k800i

Previously when I tried to update my ex k750i, after a clean windows format, I found out that in order that the update will work I have to have installed macromedia's flash player for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

I know that because I had installed flashplayer only for firefox and the update couldnt start.

Now that I have Internet Explorer 7 installed and flash player for IE7 installed the update does not start at all (says incompatible version of macromedia flash player)

My question is: do I have to uninstall IE7 and reinstall IE6 or there is a way out?

how does one install flashplayer only to firefox? doesnt it install itself to the computer and affect all browsers? becoz i'm pretty sure thats how mine worked. Why dont you just use firefox instead of ie then?

well you' re wrong...

the flash player installs directly to browsers. why don't you try by yourself as follows:

open internet explorer go to tools>programs>manage add-ons and then remove flash player

now open firefox and load any page with any flash ad, to see that the flash player for firefox is still there although you just removed it from IE

I had the exact same problem last night and guess what, for some reason everything was working fine and I was using far/SEFP to install some VKP files to my phone and then my phone buggered. So I had to reflash it once again but when I wanted to check the SEUS I got that error aswell. So luckily I installed the USB files on my laptop and had to use the laptop :@

But also I think it could be a driver clash, as I have IE7 and Opera and Firefox (XP Pro sp2). I tried deleting the registry files in regedit but it didn't work..
