> Handy Safe on P990i
Bookmark topic
This is probably common knowledge, but I'll post it anyway, just in case...
I've just purchased Handy Safe for UIQ3.0 for $12 instead of its full price of $30.
To do so, go to:
http://se-p990-software.epocw[....]pping_area_for_Handy_Safe.html
Click on "add to cart", then use the discount code 54F83825. I believe that this also works for other programs, like Handy Day.
Speaking of which, has anyone found out how to set the P990i to launch Handy Day when the flip is opened?

I havent found out why you should use Handy day?
Can't find any features thats not already exist in UIQ 3.
Handy safe instead is a really good application.

I guess it's just familiarity - I like having everything available at a glance, like I did on my P900. I know the "Today" view is similar, but (AFAIK), it doesn't launch on flip-opening either...

No it does not sadly, dont know what Meel was on about to be honest but the p990i does not have world wide weather forecasting and clocks built in. Which is a shame but you can buy 3rd party apps that will give you this function...currently looking at one but they want $75

What I mean is that Handy Day does not give you features as weather and world clocks. It gives you day, week and monthview of the calender but theese features are even better in the built in apps that comes with UIQ3. Besides this the integration with the phone is not so god, you can't have HD as a replacement for the todayview.
I really miss an application that can change the todayview the way you want it.
