Hi guys,

Time for me to stop lurking. I'm waiting for the P990i just as most pepole are. I've already got a 2GB card for it and the screen protector. At the moment I'm waiting for some sort of official release.... it's been way too long already!

Anyway, my questions:

1) IMAP implementation - as I check my main email from several computers/devices, I use IMAP to do so. However, the server runs UW-IMAP which seems a bit temperamental depending on the IMAP implemenation. Let me explain; MS Outlook 2003 can't find any subfolders, and I've given the IMAP folders path. KMail in Kontakt seems to work fine, except it requires a restart if the mailbox has been modified by some other client. Windows Mobile 5.0 doesn't even know about the IMAP folder path, which means that it'll download the FULL folder structure, including all files for my website resulting in HUUGE GPRS bills, especially abroad where you're sometimes bound to use GPRS/UMTS...
I'm hoping that the IMAP implementation on the P990i is good.
- Does it have an IMAP folder path setting in the configs?
- Does anyone have the same (future setup) as me? UW-IMAP with P990i?
My P800 worked fine with IMAP, in fact it was wonderful, but that was with another server...

2) I've read that most people get about 1 days battery life with the 900/950mAh battery - this with quite intense use. One day is quite subjective. Could you please elaborate; I'm hoping on a battery life that's "longer than mine", basically I don't mind charging the phone every night, but I do mind it running out before I get home from a working day.
And on the same note; can you use the desk stand as a stand-alone-charger stand, say on your bedside table? Then use a data-cable to do synching once in a while? (or rather Bluetooth )

3) How can you adjust how often email is checked? In the P800 you had a few fixed times, and a time interwal (if my memory serves). The problem with that was that there weren't enough timeslots to make them useable, and the timed interwal kept going through the night. Ideally I'd want to say that between 08:00 to 19:00 I want it to check emails every 15 minutes, then from 19:00 to 22:00 every 30 minutes, and between 22:00 to 08:00 no email checks.
- What settings are you guys using?

4) WiFi... Windows Mobile 5 more or less requires you to broadcast the SSID, how does the P990i work - I'd like to get home/work/friends and it would automatically connect to WiFi, if I can't have that, then I'd like to manually select which network I'm connecting to... But I would like to disable SSID broadcast.

I've got tons more questions, but I think that's enough for now

Thanks!
