Ah, the superiority of SE phone UI! Even though I currently hate SE (for refusing to followup W800i with another superior camera-music phone hybrid, but instead opted to separate them into 2 separate lineups), I can't deny how good SE user interface is. (But there's still the WSOD issue . . . if only they could fix that.)

We all knew about SE's superiority anyway The UI is one of SE's biggest strengths, so I'm not suprised.

When i got my first SE, the k700, i was amazed at the multi-tasking abilities and the k800i has just taken it to a even more computer like experience!

Conclusion

But speaking about the software/hardware platforms in comparison with each other, to tell the truth we hadn’t expected to figure out such salient supremacy of Sony Ericsson’s solution (it earned almost twice as many points).

Even revision of the summary table in favor of Nokia (by giving its platform all possible preferences and overlooking SE’s strengths), cannot save its day – at best it will be 9 to 14.

On the whole it’s a unique case, a perfect one, if you like, that allows us to call the S40 “a platform doped up with steroids”, when realizing that it is slightly behind the major trendsetter in interfaces.

Well done!

Not that we didn't know this already.

I would say Moto's was the worst UI followed closely by Samsungs.

K800 UI is of course better compared to S40 UI (used in lower end phones) but the K800 UI will definitely lose to the S60 UI.

And why compare K800 to a lower rung phone UI like 6233 and not the higher rank phone S60 UI?

Why would it loose to the S60 ? You have not even used a K800, so what do you know about that ?

During the international presentation of Sony Ericsson K800i, this project’s manager failed to answer the question regarding top video resolution – he “forgot” the value
