> My W900 Sucks!

Hi!
I bought a slightly used SE W900 yesterday, but i can't get it to work.
Everytime i turn it on, it shut downs right after getting signal from operator. I know you guys thinks that it could be battery problem, but if it is a battery problem, then souldn't somwthing like "Battery Low or SE Logo" come before it shuts down.
And then if i Choose 'Music Only' from startup menu. it plays Music normally, and doesn't turn off!
I am having Battery problems aswell, I charged it over night and battery wasnt full on morning.
And then the worst part is that i cant find the person who sold it to me.
so if any one of you, knows what could be wrong with my w900, please let me know. I worked hard for the money and i'm not a rich guy. Please help!

update the firmware !!! go to
www.sonyericsson.com and look for the w900i and go to update and follow instructions. Make sure you install the usb cable software aswell

Me again, i forgot to ask, if anybody out there got a w900 at home, could plz he or a she tell me 'input & output mode' of the charger, its probaly witten on charger! plz!

sounds like it might need it's software re-flashing rather than updating?
Have you tried updating it yet, has it fixed your problem?

sounds like a SW problem try updating though SEUS if that doesnt work use either davinci or wotanserver to flash the phone, will cost you but not much and will most likely sort out ur problem.the latest version of FW for w900i is very stable and ive had not a single problem with it

you dont want to try flashing with davinci if you have battery problems. you are always supposed to have a fully charged battery when flashing with davinci.

everytime i try to charge it or turn it on, it just displays plain white screen for 2 sec. and then black..its keep doing that, til i take out the battery. how can i flash it or upgrade it when it doesnt charge or turn on! doesnt know how flashing work tho. any tips.. would really be helpfull. Plz reply!
