Since buying my K800i, i have ignored my W810i. i have always tried to check for updates on my phone using the update service on the main menu, well it worked! here are pics to prove.

thats great. I always get this "device management interruption" whenever i attempt to update my firmware OTA. How did you set up your device management, if i may ask?

It upgraded itself from R4CE012 to R4DB005. i still have the flash bug though. i didnt notice any other difference.

Up until a few days ago I would always get the "you have the latest firmware" message. Now I'm getting the "device management interuption" message. I wonder if they are fixing the OTA update service now.

How long did it take? I'm assuming you did it over EDGE? What was the size of the update? Maybe you can post the settings you used in your phone so others can try. That would be good. This message was posted from a Nokia

No setting is required there. Just rely on your operator internet profile and just select update searcing feature..the setting,i.e. the https adress, the password, etc are all hidden.
