I wonder why brown phones are sold to people. Is it allowed by SE? I heard that brown phones mean developer not retail ones. How could people buy or own them that make it hard to update via SEUS? Are they cheated by the sellers and where to buy or get one? EBay?

probably the 'developers' sold the phones that was meant to be tested or something?

I know theres a shop selling w900i when the phone itself is not released to the public yet sometimes ago
