Hi

I want to upgrade my P910i.
Any suggestions?

I'm starting to use the diary/calendar function quite heavily.
The big problem with the P910i is that it it's just too low resolution.

Plus the SE software is basically rubbish.

But I'm getting used to it now, mind you.

I gather the P990i is about to be with us...

Any views?

P.S. I am strongly tempted to get something completely different that is much more of an Organiser... (and higher resolution). A Blackberry?? Or maybe a Nokia or something...

If you use it as an organiser then I would go with something like a HTC TYTN. Its a great phone/PDA with loads of features.
I am a avid

fan but now dont see the point in getting a P990i when for similar money there are better (in my opinion) Phone/PDA's out there.

The HTC TyTN looks fairly sensible BUT resolution is still only 240x320...
The same as the new Sony Ericsson P990i !

Also I dont like having a big screen like that on the oustide - surely it's bound to get scratched...!

I would definitely say the HTC TYN TYN is more of a pda/phone than a phone/pda.

Ive recently upgraded from a p910i to a p990i, well got rid of my p910i awhile ago...gave it to my brother in Canada. Have to say so far im pretty impressed with the p990i although it has a few bugs but then the p910i had a few as well. Some of the original bugs have been kind of ironed out in the latest firmware update, just waiting for the newer ones to come out.

I would wait a few month until the bugs are worked out. It sucks the fun out of a great gadget if there are too many bugs.
