Does anyone know what to do after you get the laptop to dial through the phone? I got it to login and everything, but just can't seem to get any web pages to open in IE on the laptop. Is there a special internet setting in IE? Got it to connect at 70kbps, that shows up ok on the laptop, but after that it's stuck.
Just wanted to let you know that gprs account is setup with cingular and I have successfully logged into the esato website numerous times. It's just that I want to use the service on my laptop through bluetooth.
Thanks in advance

your GPRS setting are set to Wap
ask your service providers to set you another GPRS profile
for surfing the internet with your mobile as the modem.
each service provider has its own settings

RD, actually, I have two data profiles...one for wap (which needs dialing in by phone) and the other is gprs. I have already setup the phone and it works fine...all I need to do is find a way to use it with the laptop. Actually, I've got the laptop to connect to the phone via bluetooth, dialed in and everything with *99***CID#, and the phone shows that gprs connection is established...up to this point, everything is fine. Only at that point forward, when I launch IE on the laptop and type in, say, yahoo.com that nothing comes up.
This is what I'm trying to get more insight on..but thank you so very much for your input..greatly appreciate the fact you looked and actually took the time to give suggestion....take care.

You should see if typing this in your browser works:

If Yahoo comes up then you're having a DNS problem.
