Heheheheh!
Not as bad as cancelling NTL though. It took five months, three (identical) letters sent via recorded delivery, and around 30 phone calls before the robbing half-wits finally stopped taking money from my bank account.

On previous ocassions when I have threathened them to cancel my aount they have given me a month or so for free of charge but Im definately going to cancel my account with them before next payment as theyre are charging me £5 extra!

Excellent advice!
That's exactly what I advise my customers to do nowadays and as far as I know, none of them have got into trouble or recieved points against their credit rating through doing so.
If you pay via a credit or debit card rather than direct debit, get in touch with your bank or card provider and explain the situation. They'll happily and very quickly put a block on these greedy ISP's to prevent them from charging your card any further!
