> SEUS is not working

seus is'nt working for my phone. I tried to install it but it just stay's the same. I even sat infront of my computer for just over an hour and still nothing happened. i cant update my phone software or use far manager because i dont have the flash program and the damn thing chooses not to install itself. What should i do? anybody...?

but i heard they have like software versions for the brand you can 4 example update ur o2 branded phone and it will still be branded on o2 but other things are updated

I think i had the same proplem as you mate, is it when your trying to uinstall SEUS but it just says it installing but nothing is happening? If so download flash player and shockwave from Adobe and you should then notice when your install it that there is a green bar at the bottom.

First I have an Orange UK branded W800i / CID36 / CDA102425/10 with firmware R1L0035.
SEUS sees the phone and tells me that the phone is already up to date.
This cannot be as R1L0035 and I still cannot copy files to the phone without problems.
I have since removed all Sony Ericsson software, SEUS, Flash and Shockwave and re-installed everything but no difference.

I power off the phone, remove bat, sim and mem card.
Start SEUS
Choose UK (as it's a UK model)
Following instructions insert batt and plugin phone holding the C key.
SEUS recognises the phone and tells me the phone is up to date.
After getting a little mad, I did a little research and found a nice little trick for SEUS that appears to work for a lot of people.

So following their instructions I quit SEUS, returned to the desktop and fired up W800.exe.
Leaving the options as default and pressing Q I unplug the phone and close the utility (again following the instructions).
SEUS detects the phone and shows UPDATE W800i EUROPE 2
SEUS then downloads what I presume to be EUROPE 2 firmware
then it shows me a screen DO NOT TOUCH THE PHONE.
after about 30 seconds I get the screen showing START or EXIT.

Okay, getting somewhere.

Has anyone seen this themselves ?
Using DaVinci 13.7 and firmware from TopSony gets me an error Flashing at block 1/266. The firmware on the phone rests unchanged.
I have tried upgrading the firmware using FAR alone but I get an unnerving warning about wiping the EROM. I dont have the guts to do this as I don't want a dead phone.
Can anyone help ?

Do the following and SEUS will work again:
regsvr32 c:\\windows\\system32\\macromed\\flash\\flash9.ocx
Still after all that SEUS detects my phone as a W800 but updates are still impossible. Am I to be consigned to the USB bug hell of R1L035 ?? ;-((
